This week I'm switching genders and writing to my brother, Nathan.

He doesn't tell me I look beautiful; he tells me I am beautiful. He kisses my forehead when I'm sad, listens to me even when I'm cranky, and prays for me ALL. THE. TIME.
Nathan has so many extraordinary qualities that it would take an entire blog series just to touch on them. To put it simply, I really believe Nathan is going to change to world. No lie.
I've never seen anyone love people so genuinely without any expectation of goodness or love returned. His heart breaks for people who are hurting, and he lets it move him to action. He goes out of his way to make people feel not only included, but important. He reaches out to the marginalized and invests in their lives.
He seeks daily for God's will for his life. He years to grow in his relationship with Christ and help others do the same.
Even though he is my younger brother, he is one of the most godly people I've ever met. And not godly in a legalistic, unrelatable way, but godly in a drawing and attractive way. He inspires and challenges me to be more just in his lifestyle.
I love him a lot. He is so good to me and my sister. And pretty much everyone.
Moral of the story - you need to meet my brother.

Sounds like a real blessing! I'm hoping it has a little bit to do with his name - we just had a baby boy in February and we named him Nathan, too :) love and blessings!
